Vintage Solid Maple Butcher Block
Dating back to the late 1800s, butcher blocks came from the minds of American craftsmen who aimed to serve the growing meat markets. The dense slab of stacked wood provided a strong and sturdy tool for butchers. Butcher blocks range in all shapes and sizes, from long tables for multiple butchers, to modern-day counter tops, to the single butcher sized block we are presenting to you today. This butcher block was made in 1986 taking inspiration from early 1900s models. The block is made of solid maple wood dovetailed together and sits upon four pencil post legs.
