When I am personally shopping for furniture Councill Craftsman is one of the brands that I am shopping for. The reason is simple: They cut no corners in the manufacturing process. Their pieces are top of the line and they hold their value very well after purchase. Fred and Hope Coun­cill found­ed Coun­cill Crafts­men in Den­ton, North Car­oli­na in 1973. They believed that the inher­ent beau­ty of fine fur­ni­ture lives forever. Coun­cill has main­tained a ded­i­ca­tion to the art and craft of fine Amer­i­can fur­ni­ture mak­ing and estab­lished a rep­u­ta­tion for excellence.

Inspired by George III Style furniture, this Councill executive desk features a unique oval shape with reeded edge top resting on conforming case with central long drawer over kneehole flanked by three drawers raised on plinth base. This desk is finished on the opposite side with faux drawers for the look of a partners desk while allowing for deeper drawers for the desk user.
