Solid Cherry Block Front Chest by Kling
Four drawers, with brass hardware and bracket feet, in outstanding condition.
Kling Furniture was a family-owned business which manufactured quality furniture from its Mayville, NY factories from 1911 to 1962, when it was sold to Ethan Allen. The Kling name was still used by Ethan Allen as “Kling Colonial’ into the 1990’s when it was eventually phased out. This heavy handsome chest is from that period of time, as it is dated 1977 on the back. It would work well as a chest or nightstand in a bedroom, or as a statement piece in a foyer or living area.
