This vintage Holzner’s Glaspalast Karlsbad decorative plate features an ornate gilt border richly embellished with classical motifs surrounding finely detailed hand-painted scenes inspired by Meistersinger. The vignettes depict “In the Bootmaker’s Workshop” and “Coronation of Singers – To Be Crowned with Wreath,” rendered in soft, painterly tones that contrast beautifully with the luminous white porcelain ground. Marked “Made in Czecho-Slovakia” on the reverse, this elegant collector’s plate reflects the refined craftsmanship associated with historic Karlsbad porcelain.
