This Monumental Asian Palace Vase stands just over three feet tall and features vibrant hand-painted birds and flowers set against a dramatic black background with yellow banding. Its scalloped rim and richly detailed design make it a stunning decorative statement, perfect for adding color and grandeur to any interior.
The vase features a flaring ruffled rim above a tall baluster body decorated with floral medallions, exotic birds, and flowering branches, all painted in vivid enamels of turquoise, pink, lavender, green, and yellow over a deep black ground. The motifs are characteristic of Qing dynasty–inspired designs, particularly those seen in late 19th- to early 20th-century export porcelains. However, based on the glaze, foot rim, and overall decoration style, this example was likely produced in China during the mid- to late 20th century (circa 1960s–1980s), continuing the decorative traditions of Jingdezhen workshops.
