For this particular piece we found wear consistent with age and prior use, including a chip on front left lip and chips on front left base corner (all neutralized with proper furniture crayons and lacquer to seal), as well as one furniture marker mark on the left side of the top. This piece was previously housed in a smoking home, and a faint residual odor is present.
