For this particular piece we found minor wear consistent with age and prior use, including one scratch on the corner of the table and a minor ding on the edge. The chairs were recently reupholstered, but the fabric was not pulled as tight as it could, so there are some wrinkles. This table only comes with pads for the main table, not for the leaves, though those could easily be ordered online.
