This antique floor quilting frame features beautifully turned posts and spindle stretchers, giving it a refined, furniture-like presence rarely seen in purely utilitarian examples. Crafted from solid wood, it was originally designed to hold quilt layers taut for hand stitching and would have served as the centerpiece of traditional quilting gatherings. The current wood top appears to be a later addition, thoughtfully repurposing the frame into a functional bench—perfect for placement under a window or at the foot of a bed. Its sturdy construction and warm patina make it a versatile piece that blends historical charm with everyday usability.

For this particular piece we found wear consistent with age and prior use, including chipped finials and a few dark spots and scratches on the bench top. Please note the tabletop was a later addition, turning this frame into a bench.

Once you purchase an item at Raleigh Furniture Gallery, you’re welcome to pick it up directly from our store or nearby offsite storage. We kindly ask that you give us a call at least one business day before arriving to ensure that we have the appropriate staff available to assist with loading your item and to confirm that your purchase is ready for pickup. This helps us provide a smooth and efficient experience for you.

Delivery

We are pleased to offer local white glove delivery at a flat rate starting at $150. For years, we have partnered with a trusted third-party service that ensures your items are delivered safely and placed directly into your home. This reliable and convenient service is designed to make your experience as seamless as possible.

Shipping

We offer worldwide shipping, having successfully shipped items as far as Indonesia. Shipping costs can vary significantly depending on the item’s size, weight, and destination. For a precise shipping quote, please feel free to contact us via email or phone with the details of the item you are interested in.

Hold Policy

After purchase, we will happily hold your item(s) for 30 days without charge. Any holds longer than this will result in a storage fee of $50 per item for each additional month.

Return Policy

For a full refund – Items are able to be returned by the end of the next business day with a receipt and in the original condition for a full refund.
Need more time? – If you would like additional time to ensure the piece is right for you, we will accept a return within one week of purchase with a receipt and in the original condition minus a 10% restocking fee.

We offer a convenient layaway option that allows you to pay off your purchase in three easy installments. Start by putting down just 33% of the total price, then another 33% in a month, and the remaining balance in two months. Your item will stay with us until it’s fully paid off.
