Mahogany English Breakfront Circa 1820
Featuring two individual mullion glass doors sitting on a two-door cabinet. Topped with a Chinese Chippendale style crown, this showstopper breakfront towers 99 1/2 inches tall! Original glass individually set in each pane and original hardware with working key. The upper shelves have a plate rail for displaying china but can easily be used as a bookcase in a library setting. There are working lights for each shelf that were a later edition. The bottom cabinet has one shelf and ample storage as shown in the photos. The breakfront done in the classic Chinese Chippendale tradition is decorated with Chinese style fretwork around the center border and the crown.
