Magnificent Waring and Gillow English Mahogany Art Deco Bedroom Suite
Includes queen bed, four door armoire, chest, and vanity all with beveled side panels, carvings, ball and claw feet, dovetailed drawers, original hardware and metal label plates. The origins of Waring and Gillow (1932) Ltd trace back to 1695 and the company has been producing fine furniture for wealthy Europeans from then until the mid -1900s, including homes, hotels, and yachts such as the Queen Mary (1936), and the Waldorf and Ritz hotels. This beautiful set is circa 1935.
Armoire is 71 inches long; 20.5 inches wide; 74.5 inches tall, and features three sections, a beveled mirror, multiple rods and hooks both fixed and sliding, and removable shelves. Armoire breaks down into five pieces for transport.
Queen bed is 87 inches long from headboard to footboard; 60 inches wide and includes the rails.
Chest of drawers is 36 inches long; 20 inches wide; 47 inches tall and features two drawers over a pair of cabinet doors concealing three shelves.
Vanity is 45 inches long; 21 inches deep and 28 inches tall. Three-piece beveled mirror is completely adjustable, with sturdy hinge on back for tilting the center mirror. Overall vanity height with mirror attached is 62.25 inches.
