Kittinger Solid Mahogany Double Pedestal Dining Table
You may not have heard of Kittinger furniture but allow me a brief introduction. Kittinger furniture has been made in Buffalo, New York throughout the 20th century to this day. Their pieces have been featured in many government buildings including presidential libraries and even the white house. In 1937 they were selected by Colonial Williamsburg to manufacturer reproductions of the pieces found in Williamsburg.
This dining table has already gotten quite a bit of attention in the Gallery in the short time it has been here. The reasons are clear: Kittinger’s simple design and use of high quality materials immediately captures your attention. The oval table is petite, but comfortably seats 6 in its smallest form. The table has an “after-market” leaf that provides 18 inches of additional table top space for you to increase seating to 8. Below the oval top are two pedestal bases with brass capped feet and casters, a highly sought after detail amongst our customers.
