19th Century Solid Walnut Leather Top Desk w. Bookcase Top
The shape of this 1800s desk falls into the plantation desk category which was a type of antique desk used in, but not limited to, southern U.S. plantations. The general design is inspired by secretary desks and recognized by many features, in this case for the much deeper than other secretary-type desks with an affixed desktop that eliminates the need for pull-out supports.
This desk features a tall bookcase top with two shelves for storing books or displaying collections, leather top desk surface with plenty of room for a laptop or notebook, and 5 pin and cove dovetailed drawers. This desk would be excellent for a student.
